Kelsea is just beginning her coaching journey, all of which is happening at FOSC. A Middletown High School graduate, she was the women’s soccer team captain, leading scorer, offensive player of the year, and earned GMC All-Conference awards. After high school, she chose to pursue her associate’s degree at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College where she then became a member of the women’s soccer team. At Cincinnati State, she led in goals and minutes played, and was an All-Conference honoree. After graduating with her associate’s degree, she further pursued soccer and her bachelor’s degree at Indiana University-East. At IUE, she served as a captain of the women’s soccer team in which she was a standout center-back. She started every game in her career with the Red Wolves team that made school history as repeat conference champions, as well as making back-to-back NAIA National Tournament appearances. Kelsea was a First Team All-Conference honoree in both of her seasons at IUE, and was recognized as a Champion of Character. She graduated from IUE in 2021 with her Bachelor of General Studies, with a concentration in coaching. Kelsea has obtained her USSF F coaching license and recently added her futsal certification. She plans to pursue higher licensure as her coaching endeavors continue. A big believer in the power of a coach to make an impact on player’s lives and influence their love and adoration for the sport, her hope is to be a female role model for young girls. Her goal is to help guide them to reaching their greatest potential as not only players, but individuals.
